“If people are sending out negative energy and not meeting your expectations, it is important to send them unconditional love. They are simply being themselves, doing the best they know how. You will find great inner peace when you do not need others to act in a certain way to be happy yourself. When you send someone unconditional love, it is no longer possible for you to be harmed by his or her negative energy.”—Orin (via slychedelic)
“Only one thing remains infinitely fascinating to me: the mystery of moods. To be master of these moods is exquisite, to be mastered by them more exquisite still. Sometimes I think that the artistic life is a long and lovely suicide, and am not sorry that it is so. And much of this I fancy you yourself have felt: much also remains for you to feel. There is an unknown land full of strange flowers and subtle perfumes, a land of which it is joy of all joys to dream, a land where all things are perfect and poisonous.”— Oscar Wilde (via aeloquence)
The trouble with some people is that they see things how they want to see them instead of seeing them for what they are. I have no troubles in accepting reality- my troubles are with the fact that other people don’t own the truth. I have no problem admitting my wrongs & taking steps to remedy whatever situation I have put myself in. I do not have time or energy for people who cleverly dance around the edge of the truth instead of saying it how it really is. People who are not genuine have no place in my life.
2. Judging other people doesn’t put you in a better position. You won’t ever understand how or why another person chooses to do what they do. All you can do is practice introspection, worry about yourself, BETTER YOURSELF …
3. When people show you who they are, believe them…the first time. Even the people you care about most will turn on you for their own gain. This is disheartening, but you can and will triumph over it. Pay them back with success.
4. On rare occasions.. extending your claws is necessary. **TAKING LONGER TO EMBRACE THIS ONE…**
5. Respect is NOT EARNED. It should be given because it is a birthright. The people who enjoy stepping on others for their own benefit soon take their own turn under the shoe. If they don’t know how it feels now, eventually they will. All people and animals and plants deserve respect because it is the simplest form of love to show; it is a humane act. If you aren’t getting the respect you deserve, look inward.
